Volunteer Information

Interested in becoming a volunteer. It's easy! You can pick up an application at the shelter or click the download below

You must be 18 years old, 16 years old with a parent or guardian, and pass a simple background check. Then you'll be on your way to many of the positions available.

We are looking for a 1 day a week commitment for about 4 hours:

AM Shift- 9am to noon - mainly working with the cats and preparing to open to the public

PM Shift- Noon to pm - mainly working with dogs, walking, bathing and helping the public.

Not able to commit to this..

We are open to group/work project parties as well... usually a 1-2 day project on the weekends.

Or maybe you are a bit younger...

If you under 16yrs and are part of an organization/school/club we allow volunteer work with the group supervisor.

Not sure you want to come to the shelter, but still want to make a difference...
