Concealed Handgun Licensing

ALL processing for concealed handgun licensing must be done in person.  

NEW Applicant applications are process by appointment only - Call 541-396-7800 to schedule an appointment

Renewals are processed as walk-ins, no appointment is necessary, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 08:30am-11:00am and 1:00pm-4:00pm.

No appointments or renewals will be processed on Thursdays.

NEW Applicants will need to bring:

1)  Bring Proof of competency - Proof of Handgun Safety Course (See Competency Document)
2)  Photo Identification (Oregon Driver's License can meet residency requirement as well)
3)  Proof of Residency (See Residency Document)
4)  Citizenship Proof (Birth Certificate or US Passport)
5)  Application, the first three pages must be completed, preferably prior to coming to appointment, however, the application can be completed in the lobby prior to your fingerprinting and photo.
6) If you have taken an online course, be sure to fill out and sign the Online Declaration Document on page four, this is certifying that you are the individual who sat at the computer and took the course.
