The K9 program is not funded through Coos County taxpayers but is instead reliant upon community support. The cost of a K9 program includes acquiring a K9, the initial training, continual maintenance training, quality dog food, routine veterinary care and unfortunately emergency veterinary bills may occur.
The Coos County Sheriff's Office K9 Program has been a great success and we could not continue it without our dedicated team of volunteers and community support and we are extremely grateful for your support.
