Welcome to all those who have found their way into Coos County Parks & Recreation's web site. I am pleased to offer you a personal invitation to check out the variety of recreational opportunities available in Coos County. You will find our parks situated along the Pacific Ocean, beside scenic rivers and in the heart of near wilderness forests. Easy access to lake and river fishing, a historical covered bridge wayside, primitive campsites by beautiful rivers, picturesque day use areas, and up to date, full service RV campgrounds -- that's Coos County Parks. Campfires

Campfires may be prohibited during your stay to prevent wildfires . If wildfire danger is moved into the  extreme category by Coos Forest Patrol campfires are NOT allowed, you can visit coosfpa.net to find the current conditions. At fire level danger of high campfires are only allowed at a managed hosted campground and in a designated fire ring only. This rule can vary depending on location and conditions at any of our parks. If camp fires are prohibited it will be posted at the park. Please always follow the posted rules.
