MATERNITY CASE MANAGEMENT

The Maternity Case Management program provides ongoing Public Health nurse visiting services for pregnant women.

This program is designed to help pregnant women access appropriate prenatal health care. It encourages better nutrition during pregnancy, and helps pregnant women to quit smoking and stop using other harmful substances.

Maternity Case Management mothers have a better chance of having a baby that is normal weight and a normal full-term pregnancy.
