THE WINCHESTER TRAIL SYSTEM

30 miles of single-track trails and roads. Open to off-road motorcycles, ATV’s and horseback riders. ATV riders should be aware that these trails are relatively narrow and are geared more towards motorcycles. Trails are marked via numbering system, 1 to 22 (and named, though not always on signs). Trails may be temporarily closed /re-routed from time to time so as not to conflict with timber harvesting operations. Trail system is 12 miles south of Coos Bay on US Hwy. 101, at milepost 251. Park in staging area along highway. Maps are available at Coos County Forestry Office, Moe’s Bike Shop, and Coos Bay District Bureau of Land Management, and Coos Regional Trails Partnership website www.coostrails.com These trails are closed to motorized vehicles when “regulated use” fire restrictions are in effect. Please do not ride these trails during wet weather!

     Ride at your own risk.
