2011 Coos County Fair & Rodeo Queen
Kaitlyn Altenbach

Queen Kaitlyn Altenbach is the seventeen year old daughter of Mike and Rhonda Altenbach She is a junior at Coquille High School and is actively involved in Volleyball, Basketball, Oregon High School Equestrian Team, leadership, and is involved in the student Body as junior class treasurer. She is the president of the Burton Prairie Wrangler 4-H horse club, a member of the Coos county Judging and Hippology State Teams, South Western Oregon Horseman's Association, South Coast Barrel Racers, and also was part of the 2011 National Horse Bowl Team. After high school Kaitlyn plans to pursue a career in the medical field and animal science. She would like to attend Oregon State University.
Kaitlyn has helped the youth in the community by volunteering to help coach youth volleyball and speaking with children in the local grade schools. Volunteering to put together Thanksgiving baskets, canned food drives, and gathering Christmas presents for families in need, has been important to her. Kaitlyn and her paint mare Jazz, will experience traveling all around the state visiting rodeos, parades, town festivals, and schools.
Kaitlyn has been participating in the Coos County Fair most of her life and takes pride in being able to represent what a great fair and rodeo Coos County has to offer. She looks forward to meeting different people around the state and locally and hopes to see everyone at the Coos County Fair and Rodeo this year!
