If you prefer a small town atmosphere away from the City, Coos County is the place for you. Salmon/Steelhead fishing will be here soon. When you get tired of the fishing you can take advantage of the golf courses, surfing, walks on the beaches, dune buggy riding, parks and other great recreational activities and places to visit. If you want to further your education, Southwestern Oregon Community College is available for you as well as several four year colleges which offer off-campus classes and degrees.

STAFF

Coos County Community Corrections has a staff of 24. There are 4 Management staff, 10 Parole/Probation Officers, 4 Clerical, 1 Substance Abuse Officer/Computer Analyst, 2 Drug & Alcohol Counselors, 1 Mental Health Counselor and 2 Case Monitors. We are a progressive Department and work as a team which leads to our healthy work environment.
