 | Bastendorff Beach Park is a spacious 89 acre park that sits on top a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Located 1/4 mile off the Cape Arago Highway, and approximately 2 miles west of Charleston; it is a beautiful place to camp or just spend the day. Ocean beach access is nearby. The park is open year-round for RV or tent camping. Campsites are available on a first come, first serve basis.

| The campground consists of 91 campsites surrounded by large trees and coastal foliage. Facilities include 56 spacious, individual and secluded RV sites with water and electrical hookups. An additional 35 sites are perfect for tent campers. There are handicap accessible restrooms and warm, coin-operated showers. Hiker/bicyclist sites are located in loop "A" and a handicap accessible site in Loop "C". |

 | Two sanitary disposal stations are located within the campground. The beautifully maintained day-use area is a wonderful place for picnics, group events or watching the splendor of the ocean. This area includes a fish cleaning stand, 2 picnic shelters with kitchens, a large fire pit, barbecue, unique playground, horseshoe pits and basketball court. There is ample parking with ocean view overlooking Bastendorff Beach and jetties.

| A coin operated binocular viewer is available at the day use area for whale watching. Visitors going to the beach should be aware of coastal safety hazards with the potential danger of undertows and sneaker waves. Fees:
Summer Season (May 1-September 30):
$20 per site with water/electric,
$16 without.
Winter Season (October 1-April 30):
$15 per site with water/electric,
$15 without.
