CCAS is governed by the Animal Control Division of the Coos County Sheriff's Office.  CCAS's mission is to provide temporary shelter for lost, abandoned, and unwanted animals; provide adoption services; educate the public; protect public safety and animal welfare by enforcing Oregon's anti-cruelty and animal control laws.
