Departments > Public Health > Clinic Services > Pregnancy Testing
Common pregnancy symptoms include nausea, tender or painful breasts, tiredness, and/or frequent urination. The pregnancy test we use is a urine test— it is very fast (3 to 5 minutes) and very accurate, and can usually determine if you’re pregnant within 1 or 2 days following a missed period. Along with testing we provide:
  • counseling about all options, and
  • referrals that support a women’s choice.

Watch for signs of pregnancy:
  • Missed or late periods
  • Sore or tender breasts
  • Feeling tired or sleepy
  • Urinating a lot
  • Nausea and/or vomiting
