The Criminal Division handles all of the criminal cases referred to this office. In addition, the Criminal Division handles other cases such as juvenile dependency matters, forfeitures and involuntary mental commitment hearings.

Currently 8 attorneys are assigned to the Criminal Division. Those attorneys are:

Ryan Rodighiero: Ryan started working in Coos County in 2014. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Oregon State University in 2008 and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Willamette University College of Law in 2011. Ryan currently handles felony cases and is assigned to work with mental health court.

Karen McClintock: Karen began working in Coos County in 1995 as a Deputy District Attorney. She graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Willamette University College of Law in 1995. Karen handles all juvenile related cases; including criminal dependency and child support matters.

Jody Newby: Jody began working in Coos County in September of 2015.  Prior to coming to Coos County, Jody worked as a prosecutor in Cowlitz County, Washington for almost six years.  She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Willamette University in 2001. and her Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Seattle University School of Law in 2008. Jody handles felony cases and is assigned to the Coos County Crash Team.

Shani Krumholz: Shani originally began working in Coos County in January of 2008. She left to work at the Benton Benton County District Attorney's office in August of 2011. Shani came back to Coos County in September of 2015. Shani earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Portland State University in 2000 and Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Lewis and Clark University in 2004.  Shani is assigned to work with the South Coast Interagency Narcotics Team where she handles narcotics prosecutions and civil forfeiture cases.

 Jenna Royce: Jenna started her career as a prosecutor in Coos County in September of 2015.  Jenna earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Northwest Christian University in 2012 and Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Oregon School of Law in September of 2015. Jenna is currently assigned to handle misdemeanors and low level felonies.

 Greta Lowry: Greta started in Coos County in May 2014.  She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in 2006 from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota.  In 2013 she obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Willamette University College of Law, Greta currently handles all probation violation cases.

 Michael Lee: Michael started his career as a prosecutor in Coos County in September of 2015.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Johns Hopkins University in 2011 and his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from the Lewis and Clark Law School in 2015.  Michael is currently assigned misdemeanors crimes and low-level felonies.

 John Blanc: John started his career with Coos County in November of 2015.  John earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Western Washington University in 2002 and his Master of Arts Degree from Pacific University in 2005.  He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from University of Oregon School of Law in 2015.  John is currently assigned to handle misdemeanor crimes and low level felonies.
