Riley Ranch County Park is located at milepost 227 on US Highway 101 just west of the community of Hauser, Oregon and 6 miles north of North Bend, Oregon. Riley Ranch is adjacent to the Oregon Dunes National Recreational Area. Physical address is: 93507 Riley Ranch Lane, North Bend, OR 97459.
The campground currently consists of 50 reservable campsites with water and electrical hookups, and 2-16’x20’camping cabins. 42 additional campsites have been roughed in and may be used for overflow until the utilities are installed. Two Restroom/shower buildingare currently on-line with a third proposed for 2014. A RV sanitary dump station is available for use at Tenmile County Park 4 miles up the road at the town of Lakeside. The campground when completed will be able to accommodate both ATV and Equestrian groups.
The day use area consists of a large gravel parking area which provides access to an OHV riding area with trails and jumps. Plans include riding areas for both youth and adults along with an ATV learning center to provide instruction for the new riders.
Butterfield Lake borders the northern part of the campground and provides a fishing opportunity for campers and day users alike. The lake currently has bass, crappie, perch, and trout. The lake will be on ODW&F’s stocking program and be receiving trout several times a year. The lake will be open to boats but will be limited in size and restricted to electric trolling motors only.
When completed Riley Ranch County Park will provide all user groups with access to the Oregon Dunes NRA and a place to stay while they enjoy it
